• Falciform ligament of the liver: A peritoneal fold that connects the liver to the anterior abdominal wall, supporting the liver's position.

Biliary System and Circulation

• Common bile duct: A duct that carries bile from the gallbladder and liver to the duodenum, essential for fat digestion.
• Hepatic portal vein: A major vein that carries blood from the gastrointestinal tract and spleen to the liver, playing a crucial role in nutrient and toxin processing.
