Khatam-e-Nabuwat and Obedience of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W)

Allah sent approximately 1,40,000 prophets and messengers for the guidance of humanity and to convey the message of His oneness.
These prophets and messengers were sent to every nation of the world, starting from Hazrat Adam (A.S) and ending with Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W).
Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) is the Khatim-un-Nabiyeen, meaning the Seal of Prophets, and is considered the last prophet.
He was sent for the whole world, whereas other prophets were sent only for their own nation.
The creed of Khatam-e-Nabuwat states that whoever claims to be a prophet after the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) is a liar and will not be considered a Muslim.
The concept of Khatam-e-Nabuwat is supported by the Holy Quran, which states: "Muhammad is not the father of any man among you, but he is the messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets; and Allah is ever aware of all things" (Surah Al-Ahzab: 40).
The Holy Prophet (S.A.W) also emphasized his position as the last prophet, saying: "I am the last of the Prophets; there is no Prophet after me" (Jami-al-Tirmidhi: 2219).
Obedience to the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) is essential for Muslims, as he is the final messenger of Allah.
