the systematic murder of 6 million (⅔) of Europe's Jews by the Nazis from 1933-1945. Mass extermination & genocide, Jews were segregated & discriminated. The Nazis also targeted gypsies, homosexuals, disabled people, black people & Poles who were killed or sent to concentration camps where they died of starvation or disease. Some were sent to extermination camps where they’d be instantly killed. For example, in Auschwitz 1.1 million Jews died in gas chambers.
