Situations Involving Unruly Crowds

  • In situations that attract unruly crowds, police supervisors or commanders may request paramedics to evacuate the area with the patient
  • Members will procure transportation for an individual to a medical facility when requested

  • Coordinating divisions will notify desk sergeants and investigative units when a prisoner has been released from the hospital

  • The Crisis Center is a dedicated resource for all Department members
