Uniform Insignia Positions
- Rank Insignia (Officers): Centered, positioned 5/8 inch from the outside shoulder seam.
- HUD Position (Females): 1/4 inch above the nameplate; remains even with the academic wreath.
- HUD Position (Males): 1/4 inch above the breast pocket.
ROTC Insignia Positions
- Male Officers: 5/8 inch above the collar notch; centerline bisects the notch and runs parallel to the lapel's inside edge.
- Female Officers: 5/8 inch above the collar and lapel seam; centerline is parallel to the inside edge of the lapel.
Additional Insignia and Pin Positions
- Torch of Knowledge (All Cadet Officers): Centered on both lapels, 1 1/4 inches below ROTC insignia, centerline bisects the insignia.
- Ribbons Position (Males): 1/8 inch above the top pocket flap with aligned subsequent rows.
- Name-plate Position (Females): 1 to 2 inches above the top button; adjustable to fit figure.
Special JROTC Team Pins
- Females: Positioned parallel to the waistline, 1/8 inch spacing between each pin; adjustable to fit figure.
- Males: Centered between the bottom of the breast pocket flap and the breast pocket itself, with 1/8 inch spacing between pins.
Cap and Coat Positions
- Garrison Cap ROTC Pin: Positioned 1 inch from the crease on the left curtain of the cap.
- Torches (Enlisted Males): Centered on both lapels and 1 inch above the notch, parallel to each lapel's inside edge.
- Torches (Enlisted Females): Positioned 5/8 inch above the notch.
Ribbons Position (Females)
- Positioned centered on the left side, with the bottom row parallel to the bottom edge of the nameplate, and 1/8 inch spacing between each ribbon.
