    Jesus Heals a Widow's Son

    • Soon afterward, Jesus went to a town called Nain.
    • As He approached the town gate, He saw a dead man being carried out, the only son of his mother, who was a widow.
    • Jesus had compassion on her and said, "Do not weep." He then touched the coffin and the dead man sat up and began to speak.
    • A sense of awe swept over the crowd and they glorified God, recognizing a great prophet had appeared among them.
