JEE Main Exam - 2024

  • The exam is 3 hours long and worth 300 marks.
  • The exam has 3 subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
  • Each subject has 2 sections: Section 1 and Section 2.
  • Section 1 has 20 multiple-choice questions with 4 choices each.
  • Only one choice is correct for each question in Section 1.
  • Section 2 has 10 numerical value type questions.
  • Only 5 questions need to be attempted in Section 2.
  • You cannot attempt the 6th question in Section 2.
  • If you want to change your answer after attempting 5 questions, you must delete one of the previously answered questions before answering the new one.
  • Answers for Section 2 must be rounded off to the nearest integer.
  • No textual materials or electronic devices are allowed inside the exam hall.
  • Candidates must hand over the answer sheet to the invigilator before leaving.
  • Candidates are allowed to take away the test booklet.
