Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Examination
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is a Nigerian organization responsible for conducting matriculation examinations into tertiary institutions within Nigeria. The board was established by Decree No. 28 of 1978 which later became law with the repeal of Decree 6 of 1993 and subsequent replacement with Act CAP J1 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004. The JAMB examination serves as an entrance requirement for admission into all levels of public and private universities, polytechnics, monotechnics, colleges of education and other higher educational institutions in Nigeria.
