There are several different types of interviews you might be exposed to, including behavioral and technical interviews.
Behavioral interviews evaluate how you react in certain situations, while technical interviews require you to speak about your knowledge and abilities related to the position.
Serial interviews are a type of interview where you meet with several individuals or groups from a company on the same day.
Ensure you remain calm and focused during interviews and adapt to the interviewer's behavior.
When interviewing for a job, be aware of the different types of interviews you may be asked to participate in, and be prepared for each one.
In a panel interview, you will be meeting with multiple people at once.
Your position may significantly impact other’s jobs at the organization you are applying to, so they want to learn more about you to ensure you’ll be a good fit.
When they introduce themselves or are introduced to you, learn and maybe write down the names and positions of everyone on the panel so you’ll know how to adapt and tune your responses to them.
Executives should get more business-centric answers and Engineers more technical ones.
When conducting a video interview, be aware of your environment and make sure that everything in view of the camera is clean.
If you DON’T have the best background, the video conferencing apps have filters that can change the background to something more in line with what you are looking to show.
It cannot be emphasized enough that you will be judged on any items in your background.
