    • Iman is an Arabic word that means Faith, which is to completely trust someone with all your heart and have no doubt about it.
    • Faith is a state in which the heart accepts the truth and lives by it, whereas doubt is darkness.
    • A Muslim has faith (Iman) in six things: • Allah • His Angels • His Books • His Messengers • The Day of Judgement • Divine Destiny – the truth that everything good or bad comes from Allah

    The Angels

    • The Arabic word for ‘angel’ is Malak, and its plural form is Malaaikah.
    • Angels are made from light and are Allah’s servants who obey Him all the time.
    • Every person has two angels that remain with them all the time, writing down everything they do or say.
    • Some of the notable angels include Mikaaeel, Israafeel, Maalik, and Jibreel.

    Duties of Allah's Angels

    • The roles of angels include: • Acting as messengers to the prophets • Praising, glorifying, and praying to Allah • Recording everything a person does, which is used on the Day of Judgement • Delivering the punishment of Allah • Sending blessings upon humans who are praising Allah and behaving righteously • Being guardians of the hell-fire • Collecting the souls of humans on the Day of Judgement • Blowing the trumpet on the Last Day

    Specific Angels and Their Duties

    • Jibrail (A.S) is one of the four greatest angels, responsible for conveying revelations to the prophets by Allah.
    • Israfel (A.S) is the Angel of Soor (The Trumpet) and will blow the trumpet twice, marking the Doomsday and the resurrection.
