- The people of Judah are described as sinful, laden with iniquity, offspring of evildoers, and corrupt.
- They have forsaken the Lord and despised the Holy One of Israel, resulting in estrangement.
- The nation is described as sick from head to toe, with no soundness, only bruises, sores, and raw wounds.
The State of the Country
- The country lies desolate, cities are burned with fire, and foreigners devour the land.
- The daughter of Zion is left like a besieged city, with only a few survivors remaining.
God's Displeasure with Sacrifices
