A computer is an electronic device that can accept data, process it according to specified rules, produce results, and store the results for future use.

The primary components of computer hardware include input devices, output devices, central processing unit (containing the control unit and the arithmetic/logic unit), storage devices, memory, and communication devices.

Input devices are hardware components that allow you to enter data and instructions into a computer, such as keyboard, mouse, microphone, scanner, and web cam.
