A computer network is a collection of interconnected devices, such as computers, printers, servers, and smartphones, that can communicate and share resources.

Traffic lights: Traffic lights are interconnected with each other to regulate traffic flow.
A group of friends texting: A group of friends communicating via messages is a network of mobile devices.
Social media platforms: Social media platforms connect users to each other, creating a network.
The internet: The internet is a vast network connecting computers and devices worldwide.
A power grid: A power grid is a network of power stations, transmission lines, and substations.

There is no maximum limit on the number of devices that can be connected within a computer network. Networks can scale from a small home network to large enterprise networks spanning multiple locations.

A basic network may connect a few computers placed in a home, office, or school.

Nodes are the individual devices connected in a network. These can include computers, servers, printers, routers, switches, and other network-enabled devices.

Digital technologies have drastically changed the world and impacted our lives positively by making daily activities more convenient and efficient.
Communication has become faster and easier than ever, with emails reaching multiple recipients instantaneously.
The use of computers and digital technology has become essential in industries such as banking, aviation, and e-commerce, for efficient delivery of goods and services.
The widespread adoption of personal computers, Internet, and smartphones has made digital technologies accessible to everyone.

When we use the internet, we leave behind a trail of data called a digital footprint, which reflects our online activities.
Digital footprints are created with or without our knowledge and include information such as websites visited, emails sent, and online submissions.
These footprints can be used for a variety of purposes, including marketing, research, and law enforcement.
