A computer is an advanced electronic device that takes raw data as input, processes it under the control of a set of instructions (called a program), produces a result (output), and saves it for future use.

A computer has three basic functionalities: input, process, and output.
In a broader sense, a computer carries out five functions: taking data as input, storing data/instructions, processing data, generating output, and controlling all the above steps.

High Speed: computes very large amounts of data in microsecond, nanosecond, or even picosecond, and can perform millions of calculations in a few seconds.
Accuracy: performs calculations with 100% error-free accuracy, provided the input is correct.
Storage Capability: has a large storage capacity, can store various types of data such as images, videos, text, audio, etc.
Diligence: works continuously without error, boredom, or tiredness, and can perform repeated tasks with the same speed and accuracy.
Versatility: can solve problems related to various fields, is flexible in performing tasks, and can be used for different purposes.
Reliability: is a reliable machine with modern electronic components having long lives and easy maintenance.
Automation: can perform tasks automatically, and can control program execution without human interaction.
Reduction in Paper Work and Cost: reduces paper work and costs, speeds up data processing, and makes data retrieval easier.

No I.Q.: has no intelligence to perform tasks on its own, requires instructions to function.
Dependency: fully dependent on humans for instructions.
Environment: requires a dust-free and suitable operating environment.
No Feeling: has no feelings or emotions, cannot make judgments based on feeling, taste, experience, or knowledge.
