- Sense organs help us to feel and sense the things around us.
- There are five sense organs: eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and skin.

Nose
- The nose helps us to smell different things.
- Air enters our body through the nose.
- Hair in the nose traps foreign particles and helps us to breathe in clean air.
Ears
- Ears help us to hear the sounds around us.
Tongue
- The tongue helps us to taste, chew, and swallow food.
- The tongue also aids in speech.
- There are five common tastes: sweet, sour, bitter, salty, and umami (pronounced "oo-mommy").
