- Cephalic (Head): Includes Cranial (surrounding the brain), Occipital (back of head), and Auricular (ear).
- Cervical (Neck): Upper extremity parts include Deltoid (shoulder), Brachial (arm), Antecubital (front of elbow), Olecranal (elbow), Antebrachial (forearm), Carpal (wrist), Dorsum of the hand, Manus (hand), Palmar (palm), and Digital (finger).
- Thoracic: Vertebral (spinal column) is part of the thoracic region. Other parts include Axillary (armpit), Mammary (breast), Pectoral (chest), and Sternal (sternum).
- Abdominal: Includes lumbar (lower back), sacral, gluteal (buttock), and perineal regions; as well as the abdomen.
- Pelvic: Includes Coxal (hip), inguinal (groin), and pubic regions.
- Lower extremity: Parts include Femoral (thigh), Patellar (kneecap), Popliteal (posterior of knee), Crural (leg), Sural (calf), Calcaneal (heel), Plantar surface (sole), Tarsal (ankle), dorsum of the foot, digital (toe) and pes (foot).
