Human Anatomy in Biology

Human anatomy refers to the study of the structures of living organisms, including humans. At a foundational level, understanding human anatomy involves learning about bones, muscles, nerves, blood vessels, glands, tendons, ligaments, skin, and membranes. These components interact to form systems, including skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, reproductive, respiratory, circulatory, lymphatic, digestive, excretory, and integumentary systems.

When studying human anatomy, one must consider the interconnectedness of various parts of the body. For instance, bone provides structural integrity while muscle allows movement. Yet, both require proper circulation through the cardiovascular system.
