Ben comes home from school and is told by his dad that he can't stay with Granny because she is in the hospital. Ben and his parents go to visit her but struggle to find her in the impossibly large hospital. When they finally find her, Ben is shocked to see how different she looks without her usual clothes, glasses, and teeth. Granny tells them she had a fall and couldn't get up for two days until her cousin called an ambulance. Ben feels sad but tries to hide it.
