- Category A cities require 50,000 sq. mts. of processing area
- Category B cities require 25,000 sq. mts. of processing area
- Category C cities require 15,000 sq. mts. of processing area
- Minimum processing area in any SEZ cannot be less than 50% of the total area of SEZ.
