- Tanks have four health pools: hull, turret, engine, and tracks
- Hull health bar represents overall health of the tank's armor
- If hull health bar reaches 0%, the tank explodes and the player dies
- Turret health bar goes down when hit by enemy fire; when it reaches 0%, the turret is hindered
- Engine health bar corresponds to the tank's engine; can only be damaged from the rear
- If engine is damaged, it remains on but cannot be started until repaired to 100%
- If engine compartment is destroyed, the engine shuts down and the tank cannot be driven
- Tracks health bar shows functionality of tracks; when it reaches 0%, the tank is forced into 1st gear or reverse
- Shooting tracks from front no longer destroys tank; can only disable tracks
- Tank can still be destroyed by shooting tracks from side if gun is powerful enough
