The Law establishes the National Policy for Digital Education (PNED).
PNED is structured from the articulation between programs, projects, and actions of different government entities to enhance public policies related to digital resources.
The PNED has four main objectives: Inclusion Digital, Digital School Education, Digital Training and Specialization, and Research and Development in ICTs.
PNED is an articulation instance and does not replace other national, state, district, or municipal digital education policies.
Inclusion Digital should prioritize promoting digital and informational competencies, online tools, training, access to digital resources, certification, and infrastructure for educational connectivity.
Digital School Education aims to insert digital education in all school environments, promoting digital and computational competencies, and awareness of digital rights.
The PNED should stimulate the development of thinking computational, digital culture, and digital rights.
The PNED should also promote the use of technology for assistive purposes.
The PNED should prioritize vulnerable populations.
The PNED should be developed within the budget limits and the competence of each government entity involved.
