Poster Specifications
- Maximum dimensions for the poster: HEIGHT 36 inches, WIDTH 48 inches, DEPTH 24 inches.
Equipment Restrictions
- Electronic devices, solar power devices, or batteries are prohibited in the competition.
- No flames, body fluids, living organisms, or sharp materials are allowed, ensuring no risk of bodily harm.
Reference and Presentation Guidelines
- Reference page must be one page long, centered, and sources alphabetized by the author's last name.
- Oral presentations are limited to five minutes.
Competition Structure
- Round One is attended only by judges; competitors do not participate.
- Judges begin scoring points during Round One and continue through Round Two.
Identification and Visuals
- A photo ID is mandatory for presenting.
- Visuals can be touched during presentations but must stay within display dimensions; removing items will lead to point deductions.
Team Responsibilities
- Teams are responsible for verifying that all equipment is operational.
- All competitors must attend the HOSA Project Display Time to share research.
Team Composition and Equipment
- A maximum of 2 members is allowed per team; no additional equipment will be provided except tables.

- Round Two appointment times are posted on the HOSA App, website, and at CE Headquarters, not distributed in hard copy.
- Boards left uncollected by the designated time will become property of HOSA.
