Number Right Scoring (NR): Assigns positive values only to correct answers and a score of zero to incorrect responses. The sum of scores for correct responses represents the test score.
Negative Marking (NM): A score is deducted for incorrect answers, aiming to discourage random guessing. This method can be seen as unfair if a question has multiple possible answers.
Partial Credit Scoring: Assigns partial credit for partially correct answers, acknowledging effort and understanding even when answers are not fully accurate.

Purpose of grading: Assess learners' performance, provide feedback, give motivation, inform parents, improve teaching, identify intervention needs, evaluate program effectiveness.
Methods of scoring tests: Number Right Scoring (NR) and Negative Marking (NM)
Number Right Scoring (NR): Assigns positive values to correct answers and zero to incorrect answers. Can incentivize guessing.
Negative Marking (NM): Penalizes incorrect answers to discourage guessing. Can demotivate learners and disproportionately impact those who are uncertain.
