Foundation School Manual

• The Foundation School of Gospel Addicts Global equips individuals with the foundations of ministry.
• It imparts basic knowledge of God's Word for a successful Christian life.

Aim of Foundation School

• Educate members on the basic doctrines of Christ.
• Provides a good and strong foundation for a successful Christian life.
• Presents every person perfect in Christ Jesus through the Word and Holy Spirit (Colossians 1:28).
• Corrects errors and false ideas (Ephesians 4:11-14).
• Enables growth in the knowledge of God’s Word (1 Peter 2:2).
• Prepares for the ministry of reconciliation and trains master soul winners (2 Corinthians 5:18-19).
• Equips individuals to understand the function and teachings of the ministry.

Examinations

• Students write a final test to assess understanding.
• Registered students receive the exam via email.
• Complete and return the exam within 24 hours.
• It's an open book exam.
• Late submissions are declined.
• New exams are forwarded to candidates on the next examination date.

Graduation

• Successful graduates receive a certificate.
• Serves as a significant attribute to a Higher Life in Christ.

Expectations

• Students study the manual on their own time.
• Complete the manual and be ready before the next exam.
• The manual is divided into sections to help you manage your study times.

101 New Creation: Introduction

• This study examines the nature and life of the man in Christ and the effect of Christ's regenerative power on spirit, soul, and body.
• The new creation outline is composed of three major sections:
  • The life of the regenerated human spirit
  • The soul and the renewal of the mind
  • The body and its discipline (subjection)

1.1.0 The New Creation

• The new creation is the born again man in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17)
• It is not "reformed" but a new life in the spirit, created in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:10)
• The moment one comes into Christ, new creation life begins, leaving behind all traces of the past.
• Being in Christ Jesus is the first right choice, as tribe, color, wealth, and age don't count (Galatians 6:15).

1.2.0 Born of God

• The new creation is born of God as divine nature is received into spirits through belief.
• According to John 1:12-13, the natural man is born of blood, the will of the flesh, and of man unto a perishable life, while the new creation is born of God.
• The new creation is born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God (1 Peter 1:23).

1.3.0 Salvation by Grace

• Jesus paid the price for the new creation's sins.
• Saved by grace through faith, not by works, as it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:2-9, Rom. 5:17)
• Grace is an unmerited favor, translating one from darkness into light.

1.4.0 Man

• Man is a spirit that has a soul, and lives in a body (1 Thessalonians 5:23, Hebrews 4:12, Job 4:19, Job 10:11)
• Man is first a spirit being, reasoning through the soul [mind], functioning in the world through the body.

1.4.1 The Spirit Man

• The spirit man communes and responds to God by the agency of the Holy Spirit.
• The spirit gives life to the body, having dominion over it.
• The spirit of man is ageless, with a voice: his conscience.

1.4.2 The Spirit Man Got Saved

• If one is in Christ, then the human spirit is created a new (2 Corinthians 5:17; 1Corinthians 6:17).

1.4.3 He Lives in The Word of God

• The new creation lives on the word of God.
• The word is the meal, deriving nourishment for growth and fullness in Christ (1 Peter 2:2; Matthew 4:4; Heb. 5:12-14).
• Without physical food, the flesh grow weak. Without the Word of God, the spirit of man grows weak too.

1.5.0 The Fruit of The Created Human Spirit In Christ

• The new creation displays the nature of God imparted into his spirit.
• The fruit of the recreated spirit: includes love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance (Galatians 5:22).

1.6.0 The Soul of Man

• The soul houses the mind, emotion and the intellect or the will.
  • The mind (Luke 9:47) thinks; A man's thought influences the words and action.
  • The will is what makes a decision.
  • Emotion deals with feeling. The soul (mind) is the doorway to the spirit.
• The soul controls the body.

1.7.0 The Renewal of The Mind

• Continual sanctification is renewal of the mind.
• Discard old thoughts and intents. Replace them with the knowledge of His will. Do this so that we may know and walk in His will (Romans 12:1-3; Ephesians 4:22-24).
• Bible study brings total transformation to the new creation.

1.8.0 Sanctifying The Thoughts

• Temptation is self-contrived by lustful thoughts, giving birth to sin and death (James 1:13-15).
• The way to clean the thoughts is through constantly pondering on The Word of God and building a relationship with God through communion.

1.9.0 Renewed by The Word of God

• Meditating on God's word transforms the new creation to become like Him and exactly what God's word says by the transforming power of God's Word (2 Corinthians 3:18).

1.10.0 The Body and Its Discipline

• The body is the covering of the spirit man.
• Through the body, a man tends to daily life issues.
• Limited on earth
• Gives one the legal right to function on earth.

1.10.1 Bringing The Body Under Subjection

• There is need to discipline (domesticate) the body (1 Corinthians 9:24-27; Colossians 3:5, Romans 6:13-15)
• Conscious effort has to be made by the new creation discipline his body that he may fulfill the purpose of his life.

1.11.0 Assurance for The New Creations

• New creation is translated from darkness (ignorance) into light (knowledge). The new creation is conscious of the realm in which he lives (Colossians 1; 13).

• Our confession and belief assures the word of God confirms. (Romans 10:9-11, 1 John 5:9-13, Matthew 12:3 says, “for by thy words thy shall be justified…”)

• The Holy Spirit gives witness with the new creations spirit.

1.12.0 Remission for The Unsaved

• To obtain salvation (Acts 2:38; Ephesians 1:7, and Matthew 26:28).
• This is obtained by believing in your heart and making confession of what you believe unto salvation.

1.13.0 Forgiveness for The Christian

• As a citizen of the commonwealth of God’s people the Christian belongs to Him.
• He has an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous (I John 1:9-10; 1 John 2:1-3).

1.14.0 Handling of Sin

• Power of God to live above sin.
• Grace to ask for forgiveness if he does sin. Strengthens the inner man for a glorious life in Christ.

1.15.0 Conclusion

• Renewal of salvation. Doing the word of God is required
• Own salvation is dependant on you. Don't blame others.

• This chapter aims to explain what makes a man Christian
• 2 Corinthians 5:17: a Christian is a new creature
• The Christian birthright means he belongs to God's family
• The Christian goals with good understanding of the following:
  • He is a new being that never existed
  • He has dominion over every circumstances
  • He sits in The place of power
  • He is complete in Christ
  • He can do all things through Christ

2.1 Born Into God's Family

• Once you have translated into Gods kingdom. You become a member of His family
• In Ephesians 3 Paul makes clear the family of God resides in earth and heaven
• All Christians as members are residents on earth.

• Receiving is Jesus grants one the power to become Sons of God: Not from blood. But now of God.
• The living word of God gives new and Eternal Life. This only begotten Son of God. He became the first begotten.

• Christians are in control over.

• God desires to translate his Children from darkness to light
• The call of Abram can be likened to God's kingdom
• Through Christ, children are assured blessings, divine nature and dominion. According To

2.5 What Truth is

• Truth is the word of God:
• It's all we feel smell and touch
• Truth and sight align

2.6 what It Means to Be a Christian

• Confessing with mouth Jesus is lord
• With our belief made justification
• With confession with mouth. Are saves
• Preach to others. To give God Authority

• The outward looks are the same. But inwardly, A new man. the spirit!
