Indicators of Economic Activity

  • GDP accounts for all the movements of money in the country, along with all economic activity within a country.
  • Income per capita is an economic indicator that is calculated by dividing the GDP by the total population of the country (GDP/Population).
  • I.D.H. (Índice de Desarrollo Humano) = HDI (Human Development Index).
  • HDI is an indicator of the level of development of a country, and is 1/3 income per capita + 1/3 life expectancy + 1/3 education.
