General Knowledge

History

History is the study of past events, people, and societies, often using evidence such as documents, artifacts, and oral accounts. It's important because it provides context to our present world and helps us understand how we got here from where we started. Some key historical figures include Cleopatra, Julius Caesar, and Alexander the Great. Their stories have been told many times over, influencing literature, films, and even songs.

Social studies encompasses several disciplines that focus on human behavior and society. These areas can include anthropology, economics, geography, political science, psychology, and sociology. Social studies skills help students think critically, solve problems, communicate effectively, work well with others, and make informed decisions. Examples of social issues include poverty, homelessness, and climate change. Understanding these issues allows citizens to engage responsibly within their communities.

Mathematics

Mathematics is a universal language used by scientists, engineers, financial experts, and more. Basic mathematical concepts like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division form the foundation of higher mathematics.
