Game Basics
- The game is played in two 20-minute halves with a five-minute halftime break.
- Teams start on their five-yard line and have four plays to cross midfield.
- If a team crosses midfield, they have four plays to score a touchdown.
- If a team fails to cross midfield, possession changes, and the opposing team starts on their five-yard line.
- Interceptions can be returned, unlike other turnover situations, which start on the offensive team's five-yard line.
- The game can go into untimed overtime if the game is tied at the end of regulation.
- Each team has one 60-second and one 30-second timeout per half.
Playing the Game
- The game is played with a minimum of five and maximum of six players.
- All players must play at least two quarters (20 minutes) per game.
- The quarterback must stay behind the line of scrimmage when running with the ball.
- No running with the ball carrier once the ball crosses the line of scrimmage.
- Only forward passes are allowed within five yards of the endzones and midfield, no handoffs allowed.
- Defenders who are not rushing the quarterback must be at least seven yards from the line of scrimmage when the ball is snapped.
- Flag Guarding is prohibited and illegal, the player with one or no flags in their belt will result in the play being dead at that spot.
Scoring
- Touchdowns are worth 6 points.
- Extra points are worth 1 point (from the 5-yard line) or 2 points (from the 12-yard line).
- Safeties are worth 2 points.
- Interceptions are worth 6 points and 2 points in overtime.
Penalties
- There are penalties for both offensive and defensive infractions.
- Penalties are assessed from the line of scrimmage, in addition to the yardage penalties.
- Some penalties include:
- Offsides: 5 yards, automatic first down
- Interference: 10 yards, automatic first down
- Illegal Contact: 10 yards, automatic first down
- Illegal Flag Pull: 10 yards, automatic first down.

- Tiny Tots games are played in 10-minute quarters with no timeouts except for injuries.
- Players play one quarter on offense and one quarter on defense per half.
- No fumbled snaps are called in Tiny Tots league.
- No score is kept in the Tiny Tots league.
Key Rules
- The clock stops for halftime, injuries, and other situations at the officials' discretion.
- The 30-second snap clock applies.
- Officials can stop the clock at their discretion.
- Coaches and officials must verify and sign the scorecard at the end of the game.
