    Criteria for GAMABA Award

    • Inability to Teach Due to Age or Infirmity: If the candidate is unable to teach due to age or infirmity must have created a significant body of work and contributed to their artistic tradition in their community; be recognized as a master of his/her craft and admired for character and integrity in community.
