PASS Device
- Composed of three main components: Battery Module, Power Module, and Control Module.
- Functions as a motion sensor to monitor user movement.
- Activates pre-alarm after 20 seconds of inactivity.
- Goes into full alarm after 30 seconds of no movement to alert others nearby.
- Monitors both cylinder pressure and battery status for user safety.
G1 Speaker Module
- Amplifies and clarifies speech from the facepiece during use.
- Breathing sounds are not amplified upon inhalation.
- Can be activated or deactivated via a dedicated button, acknowledged by a beep.
- Turns off automatically when the entire SCBA is powered down.
Battery
- Features a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery as the power source for the MSA G1.
- Supports all lights, communication functions, and controls during operation.
- Provides 6-8 hours of continuous use when all features are active.
- Battery status can be checked without powering on the SCBA by holding one or both green buttons for 3-5 seconds.
- Replace battery when power indicator shows yellow, signaling approximately two hours of use remaining.
- Full charging takes between 4-6 hours.
- Removal tool for battery replacement is located on the shoulder.
