Levels of Diploma in France

• Level 3 (V): CAP (Bac-2)
• Level 3 (V): BEP (Bac-2)

Commercial Titles at Studi

• Pré-graduate is equivalent to BAC level.
• Graduate is equivalent to BAC + 2 level.
• Bachelor is equivalent to BAC + 3 level.
• MBA is equivalent to BAC + 5 level.

Diplôme d'État (State Diploma)

• Delivered by the National Education system.
• Includes both general and professional subjects.
• Mandatory internships are required.
• Exams occur in person at the Académie de résidence.
• Exams take place on the same date for everyone in June.
• Registered with the RNCP (National Directory of Professional Certifications).
• Can be financed through the CPF (Personal Training Account).
• Full internships must be completed by March 30 of the exam year.
• Candidates must register themselves on the Cyclades website between mid-October and mid-November of the year preceding the exams.

Titres/Certifications RNCP (Titles/Certifications RNCP)

• RNCP titles are formations registered with the Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles.
• The certifying body is an organization recognized by the State (e.g., Studi or ESG).
• These certifications attest to professional competence in a specific job.
• Recognized by the State.
• Focuses solely on professional subjects.
• Shorter duration compared to a Diplôme d'État.
• Internships are often optional.
• Exams are organized by a certifying body via distance learning (June and December sessions).
• Requires registration with the RNCP.
• Can be financed through the CPF.
• Studi handles the enrollment of learners in exams.

Titres Professionnels (Professional Titles)

• Professional certifications developed and awarded by the Ministry of Labor.
• Recognized throughout France, these titles certify that the holder masters the skills, aptitudes, and knowledge required to practice a trade.
• Recognized by the State.
• The awarding body is the DREETS (Regional Directorate for Economy, Employment, Labor, and Solidarity), which equals the Ministry of Labor.
• Focuses solely on professional subjects.
• Shorter duration compared to a Diplôme d'État.
• Internships are often mandatory.
• Exams take place in person in Lyon, Paris, Bordeaux, and Montpellier.
• There are five exam sessions per year.
• Requires registration with the RNCP.
• Can be financed through the CPF.
• Studi handles enrollment for exams with possibilities for those in Martinique, Guadeloupe and La Réunion to take exams in their department.

Comparing Qualifications

• Diplôme d'État: Delivered by National Education, in-person exams (June), mandatory internships, general and professional subjects.
• TITRE PROFESSIONNEL: Delivered by the Ministry of Labor, in-person exams in select cities (5 sessions/year), often mandatory internships, professional subjects only.
• TITRE RNCP: Delivered by a Training Organization/CFA, distance exams (June/December), optional internships, professional subjects only.

Blocs de Compétences (Skills Blocks)

• It is a module from a complete training that groups a coherent set of skills for a specific profession.
• Recognized by the State.
• Focuses solely on professional subjects.
• The content comes from a Title or Professional Title.
• Exams are online or in person, organized by the certifying body based on the training's origin.
• Grants a Studi attestation.
• Can be financed through the CPF.

Parcours Pro (Pro Path)

• Opportunity for learners to benefit from title programs without RNCP certification, offering reduced prices and adapted admission conditions.
• Provides access to the same courses, forums, walls, evaluations, and follow-up as title-registered learners.
• Available to candidates who don't meet the prerequisites or don't want to do a required internship.
• Suitable for those interested only in acquiring skills, not RNCP certification.
• Does not allow validation of a level of studies.
• Results in a Studi diploma (not recognized by the State).
• Incompatible with State Diplomas.

TOSA

• TOSA is a skills assement exam in essential computer skills across most job types such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and AutoCad
• Recognized by the State.
• Formation for professionals.
• Examination online.
• TOSA certificate provided.
• Can be financed through CPF.
