What is Pascal's law and give an example of its application?
Pascal's law states that a change in pressure applied to an enclosed fluid is transmitted undiminished to all portions of the fluid. An example of its application is hydraulic systems, such as car braking systems.
Explain the concept of buoyancy and the law of floatation.
Buoyancy is the upward force exerted by a fluid that opposes the weight of an immersed object. The law of floatation states that a floating object displaces its own weight of the fluid in which it floats.
