- One Leg Down, Two Legs Down: step rearward with strong foot, kneel on strong knee, and bring weak knee down; buttocks may rest on calves but not on the ground
- Two Legs Down: dominant eye and squaring off to the target; determine dominant eye by drawing a dot or picking an object, and aligning natural point of aim with center of mass of target
