Effective May 1, 2023, Vector Check It is used for apparatus and equipment checkoff, similar to the current medical supplies checkoff process.
To complete a check, locate the respective Unit in Check It, which lists Daily Checkoff and dedicated checks for Weekly checks on Wednesday and Pump Backflush.
The digital checkoff aims to improve maintenance process and inventory controls, and is part of a comprehensive plan to enhance equipment carried on apparatus.

Equipment Relocation and Updates

Fluids, except for regular gasoline and mixed fuel, are removed from apparatus and stored in the flammables cabinet at the station.
Motor oil, bar oil, etc. are now kept at the station, not on the apparatus.
Aerial apparatus are reconfigured to improve functionality for truck company and support operations.
Hose lines remain to maintain multifunctional capabilities.
