Finnish Language Basics
- Finnish words undergo changes, especially those with K, P, or T, which can have two consonants, one consonant, or no consonant at all, and can even change into other consonants.
Finnish Verbs
- Finnish verbs can be divided into six groups, with four of them to be learned in the beginner's course.
- Verbs of the same type have the same conjugation.
- Type One verbs end in two vowels, e.g., "ottaa" (to take), "ostaa" (to buy), and "maksaa" (to pay).
- Type Two verbs end in -da or -dä, e.g., "saada" (to get), "syödä" (to eat), and "juoda" (to drink).
- Type Three verbs end in -la/-lä, -na/-nä, or -ra/-rä, e.g., "olla" (to be), "mennä" (to go), and "purra" (to bite).
Finnish Vocabulary
- Various words and their meanings, e.g., "kirja" (book), "keltainen" (yellow), "kissa" (cat), "kiva" (nice), and many more.
