- Type Two verbs end in -da or -dä, e.g., "saada" (to get), "syödä" (to eat), and "juoda" (to drink).
- Type Three verbs end in -la/-lä, -na/-nä, or -ra/-rä, e.g., "olla" (to be), "mennä" (to go), and "purra" (to bite).
