The ______ are so welcoming and you never feel like you're on your own i was really anxious because i thought that i was gonna like just be on my own and no they're really really good i love to make a difference i like knowing that i've gone home and i've done everything i possibly can to provide you know great care to my patients and knowing that i've done that makes me feel really happy being with the patients obviously learning about them and just finding about their life just having that time to be able to just give them that little five minutes makes the world to them your nurse if you've reported something up to them and they've been able to do something to help somebody with their care you think well i was a small part of helping that person and it's going home knowing that you've tried your best and sort of job well done and you've tried to help people everyone's been really supportive and if like i don't know something like i feel as though i can say to someone or this may sound silly but and everyone's like oh no no that's not silly you know this is how you do it or whatever so it's been really nice environment to learn because i feel as though i can ask questions and not you know people think oh you know so yeah no it's been really lovely within the ______ as a hca you feel valued you feel that you do an important role and you work closely with the nurses the doctors the consultants the physios the ots and everybody is part of one ______ and you all feel that you add something to that ______ and that you're appreciated we work alongside the nurses and doctors we do a lot of patient care we'll ______ up with each other to do bed baths we just check people's orbs personally i am a hca who's trained to take bloods i've never done anything like this before this was all new and just the patience and the care work absolutely melted my heart i do it because i love my job don't do it for any other reason but i love my job when you do your job well it's very enjoyable it's more about the fact that it could be any one of us lying in that bed and you just want to make sure that everybody gets the best of what you can do.
