Ürrl's Inhabitants

• The Qinans were the first people on Ürrl.
• They settled in northern Alban and are named after the Qina mountain range.
• The first Qinans were hunter-gatherers.
• They moved into Centralia and Quyinsiang.
• Groups from Aroicaba migrated to Dur-Alban.

Agriculture

• By 5,000 BC, agriculture was widely established.
• Settlements all over Ürrl were ruled by elders or chiefs.

Bronze Age

• The Bronze Age began around 2,000 BC.
• Many empires formed, especially in Centralia.
• The oldest civilizations were the Neo-Qinans and the Gadians.
  • The Gadians conquered nations through diplomacy or warfare.
  • The Neo-Qinans focused on mass farming.
• Tribes and clans emerged in Centralia, leading to a period of peace.

• Gadians: Known as the “Citadel Builders”.
• Dinans: Known as the “Desert Kings”.
• Almians: Known as the “Lake Empire”.

Iron Age

• Iron was discovered in Quyinsiang around 900 BC.
• Iron was discovered by people looking for tin deposits.
• The material proved stronger than bronze.
• Traders spread iron to the rest of Ürrl.
• Civilizations in Centralia collapsed and were replaced by smaller nations (tribes, emirates, sultanites, city-states).

Invasions of Centralia

• From 487 BC, empires from other nations began invading Centralia.
• Emirates from Dur-Alban formed the Villus Empire.
• King Acar of Akka allied with other nations to defend Centralia.
• The Villus Empire was defeated at the Battle of Tulcana in 479 BC.
• King Acar formed the Acarian Empire.
• King Acar died in 468 BC, and his sons ruled the empire.
• The Acarian Empire was invaded by the Cerralis Empire in 370 BC.
• The Cerralians came from Lebbav and conquered the Acarian Empire.
• The Cerralians ruled parts of Lebbav and Centralia until 267 BC.
• The Rolan Republic, also from Lebbav, conquered the Cerralis Empire and their claims in Centralia.
• By 40 BC, the Rolan Republic had become an empire.

The Rolan Empire

• Included Lebbav, Centralia, and parts of Westaria and Dur-Alban.
• The empire peaked around 210 AD, declining by 220 AD.
• Disastrous military campaigns in Westaria and Aroicaba.
• The change to Christianity caused anger among the people.
• Revolts erupted across the empire in 490 AD.
• The Rolan Empire fell by 500 AD.

Medieval Centralia

• Christianity became commonplace in Centralia.
• Centralia consisted of kingdoms and tribes, which established borders for modern countries.
• Astenar (Astena) was the largest kingdom.
• Early versions of peoples like the Yydians and Selmas later became minorities (Aramans and Cenans).
• Most modern ethnic groups originated from medieval kingdoms.
• The medieval era lasted from 500 AD to the 15th century.
• The Content Era lasted from 700 to 1378 with little conflict.
• The Content Era ended in 1378 with the invasion of Biltania of Hallengard.
• The Biltanian-Hallengard War lasted 20 years.
• Biltania won the war and King Vormas II formed the Vorman Empire in 1390.

The Bilten Empire

• The Vorman Empire was renamed the Bilten Empire in 1499 after the Vorman dynasty ended.
• The Vormans were the first to conquer all of Centralia.
• They used clever military tactics despite having a small initial army.
• The Biltens conquered Dur-Alban.

Cultural Revolution

• The 1500s saw a cultural revolution with new technologies being invented.
• Upgrading Centralia from tribal lands to a continent with cities and roads was focused on by the 1600s.
• The Bilten Empire was multi-ethnic, making it hard to rule.
• The emperors maintained content among the people until 1764.
• Emperor Thelius I focused on nobility, built palaces, spent more time “partying” and imposed larger taxes.
• A spring of revolts happened in 1788 in response.
• The Bilten Army crushed the revolts.
• The rebels were mainly farmers armed with pikes and axes.
• The Bilten army had muskets, artillery, and a navy.
• The Battle of Fort Albus (Fort Y) was the deadliest battle at the time with around 9,000 casualties.
• The 1788 revolution led to some reformations in the empire.

Bilten Empire Decline

• The Empire's large size led to its downfall.
• The emperor’s indifference caused economic struggles and shortages.
• Civilians put aside differences to rebel.
• A disastrous military campaign in west Alban caused disapproval.
• Riots and clashes were common in the early 1900s, escalating into civil conflicts and rebel militias.
• By the late 1910s, the southern part of the empire seceded.
• By the 1920s, the northern and western parts seceded.
• Centralian countries seceded in the 1930s.

Formation of Outer Centralian Countries

• In 1909, riots broke out in Neseda.
• The Bilten Empire granted independence to Neseda.
• The Bilten emperor saw Neseda as a waste of money.
• In 1911, the “Outer Rebellion” occurred.
• The Bilten Empire did not fight for countries deemed “un-useful”.
• There were few major battles except the Siege of Port Yrnees.
• The Siege of Port Yrnees ended with Westarian and South Ciernan navy ships intervening.
• Kostriv, Telholm, Relluse, Quaye, Almia, Kazark, Valla, Cyrama, Wallusia, Neseda, and Hallen formed from the Outer Rebellion.

Formation of Inter Centralian Countries

• The 1920s saw the independence of Dur-Alban countries and Moveseb & Sente.
• By the 1930s, the remaining countries were Biltania and the Inter Centralian countries.
• The Bilten Empire cracked down on local resistance in Inter Centralia.
• Orders were being sent to Bilten troops in Inter Centralia from Biltania.
• No new troops were sent as Biltania and Inter Centralia were separated.
• Biltania had to pay fines to Neseda to send troops.
• In 1928, Biltania's invasion of Neseda failed.
• After the Nesedan-Biltan War, Bilten troops in Inter Centralia had to fend for themselves .
• Newly independent countries funded rebel groups.
• From 1931 to 1935, the “Inter Rebellion” or “Inter Wars” occurred.
• Biltania relied on mercenaries from Quyinsiang.
• In 1935, the Bilten Empire surrendered to the Inter Centralian rebel groups.
• In 1936, Kerblak, Deloj, Ydania, Acaria, Cena and Ganwaer gained independence.
• A year later, the Bilten Empire fell and became Bilta.
• The Emperor and his family fled to Westaria.

Modern Countries

• Some Centralian countries today differ from those granted independence in the 1900s.
• Deloj and Ganwaer merged into Astena in 1942, leading to a war with Ydania.
• Kazark and Valla merged into Kazar-Valla to become stronger.
• Quaye split into Quaye and South Quaye during the Quaye civil war of 1940.
• South Quaye became more successful.
• The Ydanian reforms were controversial due to Egom Ekershroj's brutal dictatorship.
• Ydania was renamed Arama and transitioned to a democracy.
