Assignment Submission Policy
- Assignments are due on or before midnight on Sunday, Arizona Time, at the end of each Topic week.
- Assignments are accepted for 10 days with no late penalty, but this policy does not apply to Weeks 6 and 7.
- Week 6 and Week 7 assignments must be submitted by the due dates assigned.
- The 10-day deadline does not apply to Discussion Questions (DQs), participation posts, and quizzes, which must be completed during the Topic Week.
Grading Policy
- Grading begins on Monday, and weekly grades should post by the next Friday.
- If an assignment is submitted, it will be graded; if not, the grade box will be opened for submission within the 10-day window.
- After 10 days, the dropbox will be closed, and no assignments will be accepted for credit.
Late Policy
- Assignments will not be accepted after the close of the class, unless an academic accommodation is in place.
- Students with academic accommodations have a 2-week extension to complete coursework as specified by the accommodation rules.
- It is important to contact the instructor before the assignment is due to discuss any circumstances that may affect timely submission.
Discussion Questions and Participation Posts
- There are two separate assignments: Discussion Questions and Participation Posts.
- Discussion Question answers should be 150+ words and directly answer the question.
- Participation Posts should be 75+ words and make a substantive comment, asking a thought-provoking question.
- Two Participation Posts are required on four separate days of the Topic week.
- The Topic week starts Monday morning and ends at midnight the following Sunday night.
