Equity and the New Covenant

Understanding the Maxim of Equity and the New and Better Covenant of Love and Trust

• The Maxim of Equity states that "Equity will not allow a trust to fail for want of a trustee."
• The New and Better Covenant of Love and Trust is an expressed trust intended for the benefit of the Creator's one and only begotten Son.
• The Father-in-Heaven is the Settlor/Trustor/Grantor of the property granted into Trust, and can act as the Trustee if mankind does not mature into the necessary knowledge.
• By forsaking their own will and following the Beloved Son's Will and Way, individuals can be blessed with the gift of righteousness and eternal life.
• Mankind can become an "Adopted Son" of the Father-in-Heaven by choosing to serve the Son as their Redeemer, High Priest, and Sovereign King.
• Angels cannot become adopted sons, making mankind's choice to follow the Son significant.
• The decision to accept the Beloved Son's finished work and accept Him as their Sovereign King is the most important decision one can make in their life.
• The Beloved Son is the intended beneficiary of all the property the Father-in-Heaven created and placed into Trust for Him.
• Inheritance flows through the firstborn Son, making Him the Heir and the order of inheritance.
• Redemption is based on trust, as the Redeemer's finished work as Surety can only be applied to those who admit their guilt and failure to keep the first Covenant.
• The first Covenant was fulfilled, allowing the establishment of the second Covenant.
• Understanding Trusts, Trust Law, and Equity is important for self-education.
