Conservation Efforts

Conservation efforts aim to protect the earth's vast storehouse of renewable resources using appropriate methods designed to prevent further decline or destruction of these valuable assets. These may involve preserving animal habitat, regulating hunting practices, protecting threatened plant species through reforestation programs, conserving wilderness areas, controlling erosion, restoring forests and wetlands, preventing desertification, reducing pollution, recycling waste materials, and promoting energy efficiency.

Biodiversity

It has great economic value because many species have medicinal properties; over half of pharmaceuticals used today come from plant ingredients. Therefore, preserving biodiversity means ensuring access to future medical discoveries based on native plants and animals.

Climate Change

Climate refers to the sum total of weather conditions experienced by any location during an extended period. Changing climates affect both agriculture's productivity levels and the quality of life enjoyed by people around the world. Human influence on Earth's changing atmospheric conditions primarily comes from greenhouse gas emissions caused by burning fossil fuels, deforestation, industrial processes, etc..
