Emergency Evacuation Signalling (EVAC) System
- Aural indication: Evacuation Horn sounds continuously
- Visual indication: EVAC RESET flashes AMBER, and evacuation alert message flashes in red
EVAC RESET Button
- When pressed, EVAC RESET button silences the Evacuation Horn
- EVAC RESET switch flashes RED or AMBER depending on the situation
Indications When Initiated From Cabin
- Aural indication: Evacuation Horn sounds continuously
- Visual indication: FAP (INITIATOR) or FAP (NON-INITIATOR) EVAC CMD switch lighted GREEN, and EVAC RESET switch flashes RED or AMBER
- AAP indication: EVAC RESET switch flashes AMBER
Evacuation Provisions
- Hatch operations:
- From outside: Push the Handle in, rotate the Handle to the unlock position, and the hatch will open towards inside
- From inside: Press the Release Handle, and the ceiling panel will open
- Hatch Handle: has a LOCK and UNLOCK position, and Hatch indicators show GREEN when handle is in the LOCK position and RED when in UNLOCK
Slide Arming Lever
- Located in the upper center of the door
- Used to arm and disarm the slide raft
- SAFETY PIN secures the SLIDE ARMING LEVER in the DISARMED position
- When the SLIDE ARMING LEVER is in the ARMED position, the lever covers the SAFETY PIN hole
Crew Rest Compartment
- Offers privacy to the cabin crew in their off-duty times

Escape Slides and Slide Rafts
