  • Service drop conductors passing over residential property and driveways must have a vertical clearance of 5500 mm.
  • The equipment bonding jumper can be installed inside or outside of a raceway or enclosure, but the length outside the raceway shall not exceed 1800 mm.
  • Electricians should consider all electrical equipment live unless they are certain they are not to avoid personal injury.
  • Electrical floor assemblies should not be installed in wet or damp locations.
  • The working space in front of switchboards or motor control centers with exposed energized parts shall not be less than 1000 mm.
  • Cabinet and cutout boxes must have an air space of at least 2.0 mm between the base of the device and the wall of any metal cabinet or cutout box.
  • Service conductors in cable shall not be smaller than 5.5 mm2.
  • The demand factor for the first 10 kVA or less for non-dwelling receptacle loads is 100%.
