Course Description
- Examines and practices basic skills necessary to organize and deliver presentations
- Covers three areas: organizing a presentation, interpersonal components of delivering a presentation, and technical components of visual media
- Participants will prepare a short presentation and deliver it individually towards the end of the class

- Communicates ideas and facts verbally in a clear and organized way
- Adjusts style, tone, and level of verbal communication to fit the audience and situation
Learning Objectives
- Applies presentation skills in creating a presentation
- Handouts should be made available during the presentation
- Detailed handouts can be linked to a slideshow or chart pad for increased impact
Developing Notes
- A presenter's notes for use during the presentation should be limited
