David Coppock: Life and Legacy

• David Coppock was born in 1934 and qualified from Guy's Hospital in London.
• He served in the Royal Navy during the 1956 Suez campaign and later in overseas posts with the United States Navy Dental Corps.
• He returned to the UK and worked in the London MoD for nine years.
• In 1985, he was appointed Director Naval Dental Services and also served as Tri-Service Director Defence Dental Services from 1988-1990.
• He retired from the Navy in 1990 and died in December 2014.
