Driving a Manual Transmission Car in One Minute
- Ensure the car is in gear and the parking brake is engaged.
- Press the brake pedal with your right foot and the clutch pedal fully with your left to start the car.
- Shift the car into neutral by moving the gear lever left and right.
- Press the start/stop button to start the car.
- Release your left foot from the clutch pedal once the car is started.
- Release the parking brake to begin driving.
- Press the clutch pedal fully and shift the gear lever into first gear to engage first gear.
- Gradually release the clutch pedal while simultaneously accelerating to get the car rolling.
- Release the clutch fully and drive normally when you feel the clutch engage.
- To shift into second gear, release the accelerator, press the clutch fully, and move the gear lever into second gear.
