Diabetic Emergency
- Low Blood Sugar (Hypoglycemia):
- Symptoms: hunger, pale and cool skin, shakiness, dizziness, weakness, blurred vision, headache, and intoxication-like behavior
- Treatments: contact STAT-MD, administer sugar or orange juice, and provide high-flow oxygen
Diabetic Emergency
- High Blood Sugar (Hyperglycemia):
- Symptoms: excessive urination, thirst, dry hot skin, drowsiness, general weakness, labored breathing, and fruity odor
- Treatments: contact STAT-MD, administer oxygen, place passenger in reclining position, and monitor airway
Pregnancy and Labor
- Symptoms: contractions, labor pains, bleeding, and water breaking
- Treatments: contact STAT-MD, move passenger to floor, monitor well-being of mother and child, and provide protection for the child after birth
Eye Injuries
