Dearness and Other Compensatory Allowances

  • Railway employees ('A', 'B', 'C', and 'D' groups) receive dearness allowances. These are based on government set scales.

  • Temporary staff, contract workers, and those whose pay is fixed by market conditions are generally excluded.
