Data Communication Basics

Data communication refers to the process of transmitting digital information from one location to another through a communication channel.
Data transmission is the process of sending data from one location to another, and it can be done through various channels, such as wired or wireless networks, telephone lines, or satellites.

Definition of Data

Data is the information or facts that are transmitted or stored in a computer system, and it can be in the form of text, numbers, images, audio, or video.

Analog and Digital Signals

Components of a Data Communication System
