Application for Customs Warehouse
- Application for establishment of Customs Bonded Warehouse (CBW) and Customs Warehousing Facility (CFW) should be filed with the District Collector where the warehouse is located.
- The application should describe the premises, location, capacity, and purpose of the warehouse.
Evaluation of the Application
- The District Collector examines the premises, particularly its location, construction, and storage facilities.
- The District Collector, with the Commissioner's approval, may authorize the establishment of customs warehouses and accept the required security for its operation and maintenance.
Fees and Charges
- The operator of CBW and CFW shall pay an annual supervision fee, as determined by the Commissioner.
Documentary Requirements
- For new applications, the following documents are required:
- BOC Certificate of Accreditation as importer
- Certified True Copy of Articles of Incorporation or Articles of Partnership, and by-laws
- Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Certificate of Business Registration for sole proprietorship
- Certified True Copy of Mayor's Permit
- Barangay Clearance
- Certificate of Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Registration
- Income Tax Return (ITR) and Latest Audited Financial Statements, if applicable
- Lease contract or certificate of title to the real property
- Warehouse location or vicinity map
- Warehouse layout showing floor plan, storage areas, production area, office spaces, and physical security features
- List of machineries and equipment
- Feasibility study
- List of materials to be imported
- Formula of Manufacture or Conversion, if applicable
Requirements for Renewal
- The application for renewal of Authority to Operate CBW shall be supported by the following documents:
- Certified Copy of Amended Articles of Incorporation or Articles of Partnership, and by-laws, if applicable
- Updated General Information Sheet (GIS)
- Certified True Copy of Mayor's Permit
- Barangay Clearance
- Income Tax Return (ITR) and Latest Audited Financial Statement, if applicable
- Copy of the certificate of title to the real property or renewal of lease contract
- Warehouse location or vicinity map
- Updated list of machineries and equipment, if applicable
- Updated list of materials to be imported
- Formula of Manufacture, if applicable
- Affidavit of change of circumstances with supporting documents
Late Filing of Application for Renewal
- Non-filing within the prescribed period may cause the imposition of penalties, such as fines, suspension, or revocation of the Authority to Operate.
