- Bhasha Gaurav Saptah: A week-long celebration in Assam (Assamese classical language)
- Botswana President: Duma Boko
- WHO: Recognized a 17.7% decline in TB incidence in India from 2015 to 2022 (more than double the global decline of 8.3%)
- TB: Tuberculosis. A bacterial infection caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Affects the lungs and spreads through air (coughing, sneezing).
- BCG Vaccine: Bacillus Calmette-Guerin Vaccine
- World TB Day: 24 March
- National TB Elimination Programme: Aims to eliminate TB by 2025 (India)
- World Challenge Initiative: By ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research). For finding solutions to difficult health problems and developing new health technologies.
- Formation/HQ: ICMR formed in 1911. HQ in New Delhi
- Aditya-L1 Mission Payload (VELC): Visible Emission Line Coronagraph Payload; launched on 2 Sept 2023, by PSLV-C57. Placed around Lagrange Point (L1) for scientific study of the sun
- Uranium: Silvery-grey radioactive element. Australia holds the largest reserves globally. India produces ~2% of the world's uranium and ~70% of the country's reserves are in Jharkhand

- Transponder: A wireless communication device that automatically responds to an incoming signal, used for detecting, identifying and locating objects
