Jesus' Power Over Natural Forces

• Pupils should be able to narrate the story of calming the storm and the great catch.
• Jesus calmed a great storm while in a boat with His disciples, showcasing power over nature.
• In the story of the great catch, Simon, after toiling all night without success, encountered Jesus.
• Jesus used Simon's boat to preach and instructed Simon to launch into the deep, resulting in a large catch of fish
• This large catch tore the nets.

Jesus Uses His Power To Help Others

• Pupils will narrate the feeding of five thousand men and turning water into wine.
• Pupils will explain why Jesus helped people.
• Jesus fed a multitude of people after preaching when they needed to eat
• Only five loaves of bread and two fishes were available
• Jesus gave thanks and shared the bread and fish among 5,000 people, with leftovers remaining.
• Jesus turned water into wine at a marriage in Canaan after the wine ran out.
• Jesus instructed people to fill water pots and draw from them, which then tasted like wine.

The Reward of Obedience

• Pupils will learn to identify the place of obedience in the intervention of Jesus using the miracle stories.
• Pupils will learn examples of acts of obedience at home and in school.
• Jesus performed miracles because people believed in and obeyed Him.
• Miracles include calming the storm, feeding the 5,000, the great catch of fish, and turning water into wine.

Jesus Power over Death

• Pupils will narrate stories demonstrating Jesus' power over disease and death and explain this power.
• Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, who had been dead for four days.
• Jesus was moved by compassion seeing Mary and Martha crying when he arrived
• Jesus called Lazarus out of the grave, bringing him back to life.
• This miracle demonstrates Jesus' power to bring the dead back to life and shows His love.

Jesus Overcomes Diseases and Death

• Pupils will narrate the story of the paralyzed man and raising the widow's son, and know that Jesus has power over the diseases and death
• Jesus healed or raised Lazarus, Jairus' daughter, Peter's mother-in-law, and the man by the pool of Bethesda.

Jesus Healed the Sick

• Pupils will narrate the story of Jairus' daughter, say the healings of Peter's mother-in-law and know to help the sick
• Jesus healed Peter's mother-in-law, Jairus' daughter, and the paralytic man.
• It's important to help others, such as cooking, washing plates, running errands, and praying for the sick.

Jesus Power over Evil People

• Pupils will learn to know evil people and bad friends, seek for help when threatened or billed, and speak out in the name of evil.
• Good friends help others, share, care, and invite others to play.
• Bad friends use mean words, don't like to take turns, don't ask others to play and are not helpful.

Jesus Teaching on the kingdom of God

• Pupils will explain what the Kingdom of God is, know the significance of Jesus' teaching for it and give examples of trustworthiness for it.
• The Kingdom of God is the dwelling place of God. Christians prepare to go to Heaven.
• Bad behavior on earth may lead to hell. Lying, stealing, and fighting prevent entering God's Kingdom.

Jesus Teaches about God's Love

• Pupils will be able to explain God's love for man, give examples of forgiveness and repentance and speak out when offended
• The story of the prodigal son demonstrates God's love and forgiveness.
• The younger son took his inheritance, lavished it, and suffered. He returned home, and his father forgave and celebrated his return.
